The erstwhile pair found a cozy office space, and soon found that they were being more successful at producing nothing than they had ever dreamed.

"Mr. Benchley," said Mrs. Parker, "I think we've got something here."

"No, Mrs. Parker, we don't," came the reply.

"I beg to differ," she whispered, pouring another shot for each of them. And Mr. Benchley nodded, and saw that it was good, and it was the end of the first day. The next day, they named their new venture the Utica Drop Forge & Tool Company, and a legend was born.

Nearly a century later, UDFAT has considered and rejected nearly every possible good and service under the sun.
