The Comprehensive Dorothy Parker Bibliography

"Have you ever spent a whole day just looking at your hands? Well, I have."

News Item!

August 2002: After a considerable hiatus, we have returned. If you've missed us, it was nice to be missed. :) Resurrection agrees with us.

I Live On Your Visits

You are about to enter a comprehensive bibliography of the work of Dorothy Parker. This bibliography is the useful remnants of a somewhat misguided undergraduate research project I completed in 1991, and pretty much provides a prime example of how to channel obsessive behavior into socially-acceptable methods.

Why Dorothy?

If you ask me that again, begone from my site. Surrender to Dorothy.
If you're new to Dorothy, start with her books. The Portable is readily available, and is a great place to start. Pick up Marion Meade's biography of Mrs. Parker if you want the complete scoop.

Too Bad

I provide this as a reference tool. I cannot help you with your homework, especially if you are on deadline.

Just a Little One?

No exceptions. I had to dig through libraries with my bare hands, uphill, both ways, in the snow. You can do it, too. Books are your friends, especially Dorothy's.

Additions, suggestions, and commentary are always welcome. I reply to all Dorothy-related email as soon as I possibly can.
